Judging

How projects are judged

Fair, transparent and done by people who use the products every day.

  1. Eligibility screen (2–3 days). Repo public, README complete, video works, built in the window, platform use verified.
  2. Round 1 · Scoring (3 days). Every eligible project is scored by two judges. Scores are normalised to remove harsh or lenient bias.
  3. Round 2 · Finals (1–2 days). The top 10 per track are scored by the full panel, who watch the demo and try the product.
  4. Calibration (1 call). A final panel call confirms the top 3 and settles any ties.

Judges score the final project against the track's published criteria. Phase answers give them context but are not scored on their own.
