Official rules — AI Innovation Challenge 2026, November edition
These rules apply to the November 2026 edition (Edition 1) of the AI Innovation Challenge (the “Challenge”). By registering, you agree to them.
1. Organiser
The Challenge is organised by CleverCreator AI (“we”, “the organisers”). Contact: [email protected].
2. Who can enter
- Anyone with a CleverCreator account may enter, from anywhere in the world, except where the Challenge is prohibited by law or the entrant is subject to comprehensive sanctions. There is no age limit; entrants under the age of majority where they live should have a parent or guardian's permission.
- Employees and contractors of CleverCreator AI, and judges, may not win prizes.
- Each person needs their own CleverCreator account and must register for the Challenge.
3. Entries and teams
- Enter solo or as a team of up to 4. Teams are fixed at kickoff.
- Each entry belongs to one track: the ChatterMate Track (Build & Ship) or the TutorMigo Track (Teach & Learn). A person may enter both tracks with two different projects.
- The team captain (or the solo builder) submits each phase and the final project for the team.
4. Timeline (all times UTC)
- Registration: 19 October 2026 00:00 to 6 November 2026 14:00.
- Kickoff and theme reveal: 6 November 2026 14:00.
- Phase 1 — Idea & plan: due 8 November 2026 23:59.
- Phase 2 — Working prototype: due 12 November 2026 23:59.
- Final project: due 16 November 2026 11:59 (Sunday 15 November 23:59 Anywhere on Earth).
- Community voting: 16 to 21 November 2026. Judging ends 21 November 2026 23:59.
- Winners announced: 24 November 2026 14:00.
5. Phases
- The build has three steps, completed in order: Idea & plan, Working prototype, Final project. Submitting a phase unlocks the next one immediately.
- Any team member can edit a phase; only the captain or solo builder can submit it. After submitting, answers can still be improved until that phase's deadline.
- If a phase is not submitted by its deadline, later phases and the final project stay locked. If a technical problem stopped you, contact the organisers before or right after the deadline: they may extend or waive a phase at their discretion.
6. What to submit
- A public GitHub repository with a README based on the Challenge template, including a “Built with ChatterMate” or “Built with TutorMigo” section.
- A 2–3 minute demo video that can be watched without signing in.
- A live link, APK or share links so judges can try the project, and the proof of platform use listed for your track.
7. Originality and tools
- Your project must be your own work and must use ChatterMate or TutorMigo as a central part of how it was built.
- You may use other tools, libraries, templates and earlier code if you declare them in your README. Only work done during the build window is judged; your commit history should show it.
- Do not submit anything that infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, or is harmful.
8. Judging
- Eligible projects are scored against the published criteria for their track by at least two judges, with score normalisation. Finalists are reviewed by the full panel, which settles ties.
- Community Choice is decided by a public vote among eligible gallery projects. Votes from fake or duplicate accounts are removed.
- Judges' decisions are final.
9. Prizes
- Per track: Winner, Runner-up and Third place receive cash and Pro subscriptions; Top 15 and Community Choice receive Pro subscriptions; every eligible participant receives a certificate. The current prize list is on the Prizes page.
- Team prizes are shared equally between members unless the team tells us otherwise in writing. Pro subscriptions go to each team member's account.
- Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged, except that we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
10. Payout
- Pro subscriptions are applied within 5 business days of the winners announcement.
- Cash prizes are paid by Wise or PayPal within 15 business days after a winner is verified and has provided valid payout details. Winners are responsible for any taxes in their country.
- If a winner does not provide payout details within 30 days, the cash prize may be forfeited.
11. Ownership and publicity
You keep ownership of your project. By entering, you allow CleverCreator AI to show your project name, description, screenshots and video, with credit to you, to promote the Challenge and its products.
12. Conduct and disqualification
Follow the code of conduct. We may disqualify an entry at any stage, including after a phase or the final project was submitted, for cheating, plagiarism, misrepresenting the work done in the build window, vote manipulation, harassment or breaking these rules. Disqualified entries lose any prize.
13. Privacy
We use your registration and submission data to run the Challenge, as described in the CleverCreator privacy policy. You can ask for a copy of your data or for it to be deleted.
14. Changes
We may update these rules or the timeline if needed, for example after a technical outage. We announce material changes by email and on the site; continuing to take part means you accept them.
